Active Ingredients
30% glycolic and 30% ascorbic acid (vitamin C) and Glycyrrhetinic Acid
Before Treatment
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning 7 days before your treatment
- Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 sunscreen every day.
- Do not use exfoliating scrubs, acids (AHA/BHA), retinol, or other active skincare ingredients unless advised by your therapist 3 days before your treatment
- Avoid waxing, threading, depilatory creams, or bleaching the treatment area 7 days before your treatment
- Inform your therapist if you have recently started any prescription skincare products.
- Do not undergo any laser treatments, IPL, microneedling, or other skin resurfacing procedures 2 weeks before your treatmen
Aftercare
- Keep your skin well moisturised.
- Avoid hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and hot tubs for 7 days
- Avoid strenuous exercise that causes excessive sweating for 48 hours
- Avoid swimming in chlorinated pools for 48 hours
- Avoid retinol, vitamin A products, glycolic acid, salicylic acid, and other active ingredients for 7 days
- Avoid waxing, threading, dermaplaning, or shaving irritated skin for 2 weeks
- Avoid facials or other skin treatments for 7 days
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every morning.
- Avoid direct sun exposure for one week

The Optiphi® Quadraction Retinol Peel is an advanced medical-grade retinol peel designed to improve fine lines, wrinkles, acne, acne scarring, pigmentation, uneven skin tone, and overall skin rejuvenation. Unlike superficial glycolic peels, this treatment may result in moderate peeling and requires careful preparation and aftercare to achieve the best possible results.
Active Ingredients
2% medical grade pure retinol in an advanced delivery system for enhanced skin absorption, a bio-retinoid to magnify the physiological effects of retinol on cellular systems, powerful soothing actives and anti-oxidants to deliver a multi-dimensional skin treatment.
Before Treatment
- Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning.
- Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 sunscreen daily.
- Follow any prescribed skin preparation products as recommended by your therapist.
- Avoid waxing, threading, laser hair removal, electrolysis, or depilatory creams on the treatment area for 7 days
- Do not undergo any other chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermaplaning, microneedling, IPL, or laser treatments for 7 days
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure or tanning for 2 weeks
- Stop using retinoids (Retinol, Retinal, Retin-A®, Tretinoin, Adapalene) for 7 days
- Avoid exfoliating scrubs, glycolic acid, lactic acid, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and Vitamin C serums for 3 days

- Leave the peel on for the duration advised by your aesthetic therapist.
- Follow the skincare regime recommended by your aesthetic therapist
- Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 every morning.
- Avoid touching or rubbing your skin.
- Avoid exercise, excessive sweating, hot showers, saunas, and steam rooms for 7 days

- Do not pick, pull, or peel loose skin.
- Avoid exfoliants, retinoids, acids, Vitamin C, and active skincare ingredients for 7 days
- Avoid shaving over peeling skin for 7 days

Are the treatments painful?
Most patients experience a temporary tingling, warming, or mild stinging sensation during treatment. This usually settles within a few minutes.
How many treatments will I need?
Depending on your skin concerns, we generally recommend:
- Mild skin concerns: 3–4 treatments
- Pigmentation or acne: 4–6 treatments
- Ageing and collagen stimulation: 4–6 treatments

How far apart should treatments be?
Treatments are usually performed every 2–4 weeks, depending on the peel selected and your skin’s response.
Will my skin peel?
Some patients experience very light flaking 3-7 days after a treatment, while others may have no visible peeling at all. Visible peeling is not required for the treatment to be effective.
Can I wear makeup afterwards?
It is recommended to avoid makeup for the remainder of the treatment day to allow your skin to recover.
