Collagen Biostimulators
Collagen biostimulators are a type of aesthetic treatment designed to stimulate the body’s natural collagen production and enhance skin elasticity, firmness, structure and radiance. Collagen biostimulators are commonly used to address fine lines and wrinkles, skin laxity, facial sagging and overall skin quality. They provide long-lasting rejuvenation and a refreshed appearance.
How does it work?
Collagen biostimulators work by triggering the skin’s natural regenerative processes. They are typically made from biocompatible materials (e.g. poly-L-lactic acid or calcium hydroxyapatite), which are gradually absorbed by the body. When injected into the skin, these materials activate fibroblasts, the cells responsible for collagen production. Over time, this increased collagen production helps improve skin texture, firmness, luminosity and overall skin quality. The results of biostimulator treatments are gradual and natural-looking, with improvements continuing to develop over several months. The results last for up to 25 months after the initial treatment.

- Disclose Health Information: Inform your practitioner about any medications you are taking, as well as any health conditions or allergies you may have.
